About Me

Hello friends. My name is Meg and I am a writer, tarot reader and artist based in California. I am excited to share my work with you all here. I have created this website with the intention of creating a safe space for those who are seeking advice and guidance. My desire is to see this reach people, regardless of race, religion (if you choose to follow one), sexual orientation, gender preference, presentation etc. Whoever you are, this is for you. I hope something here resonates with you and gives you some hope and light whenever you're feeling down.  Thank you for stopping by.

My Journey in Art and Tarot

I’ve been creating art for as long as I can remember but it wasn’t until I started college that I started sharing my work on my DeviantArt blog. With this, I found an incredible outlet for my stress and an escape when things got overwhelming. It was a constructive way for me to process my emotions as well. It was here that I discovered fractal art, and I decided to tailor my gallery to this style of art. Fourteen years later, I have built up a large gallery with this artwork. It has only been within the last year that I’ve started selling prints and other items of my work, and there is a link for the archives and recent gallery updates on the front page. Have a look if you’re interested. Other creative outlets for me include writing, knitting, hand sewing journals, and drawing (albeit rather poorly... I still have fun with it though *winks*.)

As for my tarot reading practice, I have been working with my cards off and on since high school. I went through phases where I would practice with my cards, then put down my deck again and leave it alone for the longest time. College saw me getting really interested in the lore and mythology of the practice, though due to the obligations on the time I had, I didn't really have a lot of free time to practice.  After I graduated, I really began to study and learn the mythology and history of the tarot and how it can be a useful tool in guiding the user through the ups and downs in life. I got out my first deck and really began working with it so I could be comfortable in giving readings to my friends. Cut to years later and I have amassed a collection of loved and well-used decks and I am pleased to be able to share them with all of you. For a list of the books and decks I use, there is a link on the front page to my sources.
