Deck used is the Mystic Mondays Tarot by Grace Duong

Spread can be found at Ethony

With this reading, I wanted to have a look at the light and dark sides of this Yule season. With everything going on, it’s easy to lose oneself in all the chaos and madness around us. I wanted this reading to be tailored to what I’ve been through in the past year and to see what could come up for me in the future. Let's see what my cards have to say.

The Card

from the Mystic Mondays Tarot by Grace Duong

Princess of Cups: Flow, synchronicity, mystic messages

The Tower: destruction, abrupt change, lightening

5 of Cups: disappointment, setback, perspective

One way that I am becoming new is in the way I use the periods of flow in my life. There have been moments leading up to the various synchronicities that have happened for me and I need to be grateful for them because they have led me to download the messages I need to move forward. One thing I’ve learned through this is that I will always have to deal with the dark side of my personality, in that I always have trouble with abrupt change and destruction because I am a creature of my comforts and I don’t want to lose the things I’ve become accustomed to. But in spite of the changes and disappointments and setbacks, I am able to see where I can go next. I haven’t lost everything; the gift in this is that I still have a place to go and I can still rebuild from the rubble. The reward of this is that I see myself losing the materials and energies I’m meant to lose so that I really let myself experience the ebbs and flows in my life.
