Okay, so another of my favorite movies is the Disney version of Aladdin. This version of the movie was released in 1992 and starred Robin Willams, Scott Weinger, and Linda Larkin as Genie, Aladdin, and Jasmine respectively. The story tells of a kind-hearted boy living on the streets as he tries to survive. When he is asked to retrieve a magical lamp, his life changes around when he discovers that the lamp is home to a genie that can grant him the ability to get everything he wants. But Aladdin isn’t the only one that wants the lamp for themselves, and a battle ensues for the lamp, and who gets to use Genie’s abilities to grant wishes. The movie was released in 1992 and directed by John Musker and Ron Clements

3 of coins: teamwork, union, harmonizing the ideas of novices and those with experience.
Strength: calm control, balance, overcoming base desires
What have I been hiding from the world that needs releasing
Wheel of Fortune: cycles, everything in their time, what is up will come back down and vice versa
5 of Junk (coins): cold, destitution, come in from the cold and ask for help
What is the best way to make use of the opportunities I have at my disposal during this time?
10 of swords: burdens, carrying a heavy weight on your shoulders, responsibilities
3 of Feathers: hurt, pain, heartache, bleeding heart
Okay, so the thing that I’m seeing with this situation is in order to show up as my authentic self without the masks and without the need to hide away is that I can’t do everything on my own. I need to stay in calm control of my situation and understand that in order to really do what is being asked of me, I need to come in and ask for help when I’m really feeling the need to do so. Another thing that will help me drop the mask and show up as myself has to understand that all things come and go, my body, the clothes on my back, nothing is static and everything moves on whether I want it to or not. I am never alone so again, asking for help when it’s needed is imperative. The best way I can make use of the opportunities at my hands is to understand the responsibilities and burdens I have taken on and what those would mean to me if I achieved them. I also need to acknowledge where I’ve been hurt and do what I need to do to heal my heart.
