Okay so for today, the movie I’d like to highlight is the Disney version of Alice and Wonderland. This movie tells the story of a young girl named Alice as she stumbles into the mad world of Wonderland. She meets wacky characters along the way such as The Mad Hatter, The Cheshire Cat, and the Queen of Hearts. As she moves through Wonderland, she tries to find her way home. Will she get there? This version was released by Disney in 1951 and starred Kathryn Beaumont, Ed Wynn, and Richard Hadyn. This was directed by Clyde Geronimi, Wilfred Jackson, and Hamilton Luske.

Okay so I’m seeing that we’ve stumbled into a situation that we weren’t expecting to have to deal with, but it seems that there is an unexpected blessing in disguise in this as well because we now have space to pursue mental and intellectual pursuits that we’ve been needing and wanting to do for a while. This is allowing us to discover new passions and become inspired to move forward. We’ve also had the space to address the anxiety and stress we may have been feeling in this situation, especially because now we’ve had time to sit back, reflect and work on internalizing the wisdom we’ve needed. While there’s been some hesitation over making a choice, we haven’t had to do this alone. What’s helping us here is the fact that we have a community of family, friends, and loved ones in our space, and that deserves a moment of celebration.
