The Alstroemeria, also called the Peruvian Lily or Lily of the Incas originates in Peru, Chile, and Brazil. This gorgeous plant was discovered by a Swedish explorer in the 18th century and a man named Baron Von Alstroemer. This plant is used to convey the ideas of friendship, love, strength, devotion, and mutual support. Things like understanding, emotional bonding, stability, and perseverance also can be conveyed with this flower as well. Various color associations can be made with this flower as well. White can show love, strength, and support, yellow can show vibrancy and fun energy, pink and red can show romance, passion, and playfulness. With this reading, I wanted to know how I can show appreciation for and honor the friends and support system I have created around me. Let’s get to the cards and see what they have to say, shall we?

The Cards

cards were pulled from various decks
  • Vasariah: clemency, equilibrium, protection from attacks in the courts

  • Caliel: justice, makes the truth known, innocence prevails

  • Samael: seduction, downfall, communication with the dead, occult and magic teachings

  • Louiah: revelation, especially through dreams, protects from sadness

  • Mahasiah: rectification, helps one live in peace with everyone

  • Jeliel: love and wisdom, victory

  • Hahasiah: universal medicine, the elevation of the soul, the revelation of mysteries,

  • Nithael: rejuvenation, obtains the mercy of God and gives long life

  • Poyel: fortune, fame, fulfills any request

  • Seehiah: longevity, protection from infirmity

  • 2 of coins: juggling, the balance between obligation and desire

  • Knight of goblets: emotional, wearing their hearts on their sleeves, taking action on their emotional pursuits

  • 10 of wands: burden, a heavy weight, carrying a lot on your shoulders

  • Justice: balance, answering for past actions

  • 7 of pentacles: take a step back to review your progress and situation. What’s on your plate right now.

With this reading, I wanted to honor my friends and support system. When I think about all I’ve been through, especially recently, I find that I am so intensely grateful for the love, protection, and support I have around me right now. I have had some heavy burdens and weight on my shoulders. Knowing that I am supported and loved for my authentic self has helped me to achieve balance and know that I can do what I need to do to make my goals and dreams manifest in this reality.
