An Abundance of Possibilities

Hello friends. Today’s animal is the squirrel. To start things off, squirrels generally tend to represent the ideas of being prepared, abundance, resting, multitasking, new life, energy, practicality energy playfulness, and wisdom. Seeing squirrels may also signify that you are experiencing an abundance of food, money, and comforts, but it may also mean that you are being called to invest in your future as well as work hard, play hard and have some fun as well. Interestingly enough, people during the medieval times had a complex view of squirrels because on one hand, they praised the animal’s hard work while on the other, they saw them as akin to the devil and the sin of avarice because of their fiery red coats.

There are different types of squirrels including red, grey, black, and a variety called the flying squirrel. This last variety of squirrels doesn’t actually fly, they stretch a flap of skin when they jump that allows them to glide from one spot to another. also interesting fact is that the flying squirrel is native to America while the sugar glider isn’t. I mention this because the two are often mistaken for one another and I did just that. With all that in mind, let's get to some cards and see where we land shall we?

Just as a little sidebar to starting this off, I am always amazed how reading the cards works out with introductions like this. I think this one is no exception so lets get started, shall we?

What I am seeing in the reading is that there are some choices that need to be made in your space right now and you might be missing pieces of information that could help you make the best decisions possible. In this case, what you might need to do is reflect on your abilities and passions, because the call to action here is for you to believe in yourself enough to know that you can do what you know needs to be done. Perhaps you’re the type of person to throw yourself into a project full steam. You have the passion and fire to do something like this for yourself and others. The people around you notice this because that effort is what gets things done. What you might not seem to realize at this time is that this hard work and diligence is going to help you see dividends as well, whether that’s recognition in a job setting, or whether that’s going to help you settle your home and family life. There are many possibilities at your fingertips right now friend. Take some time and reflect on what you want and how you want to get there.
