So the movie I’ve chosen to highlight for today is Avatar, released in 2009 and directed by James Cameron, this movie tells the story of a disabled soldier named Jake Sully. He is dispatched to an inhabited moon called Pandora to help with a mission his brother was supposed to fulfill there. As he acclimates and comes to know the people and the world they occupy, he becomes torn between following the orders he was given and the need to protect the world he’s come to call home. The movie stars Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Sigourney Weaver, and Giovanni Ribisi.

So one of the themes I wanted to explore with this reading is the idea of connections and what I might be missing in this. What I’m seeing right off is that I need to put in the hard with and effort in order to grow my wealth and financial abundance. I have a choice between head and heart, and if it means juggling a little bit to try and balance out the choppy waters I’m currently navigating, then I need to do that. The thing with this is that while I may not be going this alone, I need to be aware that there are people around me who don’t have my best interests at heart because these people may be keeping malicious secrets from me. What I need to know is that in order to really pursue my inspirations and passions, I need to let them go. In doing this, the mask can drop and I can really set my creativity and power flying. Again, I am transitioning and learning how to balance what I have at my disposal, and even if things seem a bit awry in my space, I still have the opportunity to reach out to a trusted person if things become challenging.
