research credit: The Bee

I’m just going to say this here guys, bees are pretty damn cool creatures. I know that not many people like them because they seem like pests to be gotten rid of but I’d like to take a moment and try and convince you otherwise because frankly, I don’t think we’d be able to eat if not for bees and other pollinating creatures. So let's get into some of the symbolism and I’ll let you be the judge as to whether you think bees are still annoying.

So first and foremost, bees are among some of the most industrious creatures in the animal kingdom and are associated with fertility and the soul. Some common phrases such as “busy as a bee” and “a hive of activity” have been said to be associated with the activities of bees. Even these creatures are known as a symbol of fertility. the Celts and Saxons associated bees with Divine winged messengers and the Egyptian culture associated bees as the embodiment of Ka. Elsewhere it was suggested that bees and hawks were the only two animals with direct access to the Heavenly Realms.

These insects are pollinators like I said and their tiny bodies are built to serve this purpose and the research I’ve done suggests that there is a bee body type that is suited for most flowers. their legs and bodies are furry and can carry and deposit pollen to the other flowers they visit. They can visit flowers several miles away from their hive, and their drive to pollinate flowers is served by their need for the nectar that flowers can produce. Interestingly enough, bees have developed the adaptation of buzz pollinating to help them collect pollen from flowers that don’t release it easily. It is because of these ideas that bees, especially honey bees. There are many types of bee species in the world and each of these can be grouped into seven different types of “families.” though this is not a stable means of classification because there are many species of bees, this accounts for some of the most common types of bees in the world. These are honey and bumblebees (which are commonly known), as well as leafcutter, carder, flower, furrow, nomadic, long-horned, carpenter, and plasterer bees. Each of these types of bees plays an important role in helping to build and maintain their hives.

So check-in, how do we feel about bees now guys? Pretty cool eh? I think so. Let's make this post a bit cooler by seeing how your cards are working out for you, shall we?

cards pulled from various decks

Bee: sweet results await

The Corsair (knight of spirals [wands]): smart and fiery, someone who takes action on their inspirations and passions, all about growth

Gaia (the Empress): creativity, abundance, life, and growth

7 of Scrolls (swords): deceptions, check your motivations and that of others

3 of Spirals (Wands): In a state of active waiting, be patient, your ship will come in

The Moon: dreams, creativity, darkness, ego, not seeing the way through just yet.

So what I’m seeing with this is that you’re in a state of active waiting, even though at this time there is a lot of creative energy in your space right now. There is an energy in your space that is pushing you to find and nurture your passions and inspirations, however, I’m also seeing that in spite of this, there may be some deceptions in your space as well. Whether these deceptions are coming from you or someone else in your space, they must be checked and released. The result of this work will be the clarity and abundance you’ve been wanting for yourself. Tap into your industriousness and go with the flow because patience will be your virtue here. When the time comes to exercise your beautiful creative energy, it will be a sweet and fulfilling experience.
