Alrighty then guys, it’s the end of the month and I’ve had a fun time sharing these readings with all of you. I have discovered a lot o fascinating things about the world around me and it’s been a lot of fun working on getting these posts together for you. As per usual, I have one more to share with you, and that is going to be our final post for the month. To do this, I pulled one last card out of my oracle deck, this one being the cat. There’s a lot to their mythology and history so admittedly, it was a challenge to distill all of it down into a readable post. I’ll let you be the judge of how I did but in the meantime, here’s some trivia about cats.
Symbolically, the cat generally represents independence, protection, magic, good luck, serenity, and other notable qualities like curiosity and elegance. Ancient cultures believed that cats and humans shared important connections and these became deeper as cats started to become domesticated by humans. It is believed that this process started in the Fertile Crescent (which comprises Southern Iraq, Syria, and other places) around 8000 BC to keep rodents and other pests from eating crop foods. As for being magical creatures, cats tend to get associated with this energy because of their nocturnal activities and excellent night vision. Cats are often considered familiars to some witches however they are known for being restless and curious.
Outside of this idea, this may be a reminder to us, humans, that it is always a good idea to get outside of your comfort zone and get into some well-intentioned mischief. There is also a reminder that you are able to do this while maintaining your autonomy and identity while still being companionable and friendly. You don’t have to limit yourself where it comes to your future either. You have a bit of good luck on your side.
So with all that in mind, let's, get to your final message and see what the cards have to say shall we?

Cat: claim your independence
Celtic Owl (the Hanged Man): surrender and change your perspective. Try to see things from a different angle
Psyche (The world): cycles are ending and closing out, a new chapter begins as an old one ends
2 of stones (pentacles): juggling, you have a lot of things on your plate but are working through it and dipping your toes into the choppy water.
The Companion (King of Spirals [wands]): someone fiery and passionate and able to inspire the same passion and inspiration in others.
The Muse (Queen of Spirals [wands]): someone passionate, smart and nurturing for other people to find their inspiration and passion but is also able to protect and nurture themselves as well.
The Poet (King of scrolls [swords]): someone authoritative and in charge of their mental and intellectual pursuits, someone who understands how to motivate others to take charge of their own mind and thoughts.
7 of scrolls (swords): deception, clandestine information that isn’t being shared with you, check your motivations as well as those of others around you.
2 of mirrors (cups): union, harmony, a blending of two energies, the spark of long-lasting love
Storyteller (The Hermit): taking some time away from society to discover and light the lamp of your own truth, following your own path
The Illusionist (Knight of Stones [pentacles]): someone who takes action on growing their financial, material, and spiritual abundances.
Alright guys, so it’s been a fascinating month. I’ve had fun doing these readings for you and if they’ve resonated with you, I’m glad to know this fact and that I’ve been able to help you with these readings. So let's get into the reflection and see the message for this last day of the month, shall we?
To start this reflection off, I’m seeing that things have been in a state of flux and change and that seems to have been the theme of this month. the final message of this is that you’re being asked to claim your independence for the upcoming cycle. How are you being asked to do this? One thing you need to consider is surrendering to the process of change. It’s not doing you any good to deny the fact that it’s happening because whether we realize it or not, nothing is stagnant. Nothing remains the same forever. If you want to internalize this fact, it’s best you figure out what truths you carry within you and use those to walk your own path. No one is going to give you permission to do this and you can’t wait for it to come in either. It might also be best to check yourself and what motivates you to move forward. Why do you want to follow this path in the way you want to follow it?
Another thing I’m getting is the message of tapping into your authority as well. I think you already know this but you have what it takes to make things happen. there is so much passion and inspiration in you that you don’t seem to be seeing right away but it still shines through anyway my friend. If you can tap into that aspect of yourself, you’ll have so many opportunities falling at your feet and I’m excited to see that start happening for you.
Now to really get into the reading, I decided to break things down into their components. If you’ve read any of my recent large scale readings, you’ll already know how I do this, but I decided to break the cards I had in the reading down into what suits and numbers were the most prevalent and it seems that the Major Arcana came out on top as far as the suit breakdown goes. This tends to mean that there are major life changes about to happen for you and this is important because this will help you claim your independence even more because you’re going to be able to start developing your independence even further.
When I looked at the number breakdown the two most prevalent cards I kept seeing was twos and Kings. Numerologically, twos generally represent duality and how it is expressed in life. just as there are two sides to every coin, there are choices that need making and things that need doing. What I find interesting in all of this is that you have kings showing up for this side of things as well. Kings in general, represent maturity, experience, and understanding. the kings of each suit tend to represent the energy in its fullest and final form. In this case, what I’m seeing is that you are in your full and complete authority when it comes to making decisions and moving forward on your goals.
