Deck used is the Everyday Tarot by Bridgit Esselmont

Hello, 2021. Welcome. I’m happy you’re here. Let’s hope we get along better than I did with 2020. This is the first day of the rest of the year so let’s see what your first reading has in store for me, shall we?

The Cards

from the Everyday Tarot by Bridget Esselmont

Moon: intuition, subconscious, forces of nature

King of Wands: Leader, Charismatic focused

Knight of Pentacles: hard-working, conscientious, planner and implementer

The Devil: unhealthy attachments, addictions, and dependencies letting go of fear

Seven of pentacles: putting in the hard work now for the long term. Results might not come right away so you’ll have to wait to see them.

This reading is showing me that it’s alright to call myself a leader. I never would have said this of myself before now because I always thought of myself more as a follower. However, it seems to come naturally to want to lead and help create the things I want to see in my reality. I know that there have been moments where I have been called to implement plans and see them through. The lesson I learned here is that while I am naturally drawn to want to do this, I need to understand that sometimes, a commitment for the long haul is necessary if I want to see results come from it. This may cause me to feel fear and uncertainty, but I need to recognize when I’m feeling attached to these emotions so I can work to let them go.
