Okay, I’m going to get real with you guys here. One character trait I recall myself having is that I’d talk a lot about doing something grandiose and when it didn’t happen or I didn’t follow through on what I said I was going to do, I’d have to explain why. I’d find myself doing this on impulse to try and impress people, and frankly, it was exhausting after a while. (I can tell you once I stopped doing that I was happier.) In a more broad sense, I think we all know someone who talks a big game but really doesn’t have any follow-through. I wanted to explore the theme of Dig Your Own Hole by Gotye in terms of getting ourselves into the achievement mindset rather than staying with limiting beliefs and a pile of empty words. Let's see some cards and how they resonate.
The Cards:

You have been saying you're going to do a task/the work it takes to achieve a goal. What is holding you back from really starting the process of achieving your goal?
7 of cups: choices, options, be careful to weigh your options and understand that not all that glitters is gold
Pleiades: double mission, channeling and uplifting humanity
What are you willing to do to leave behind your limiting beliefs and stop being all talk and no action?
2 of flames: choices need to be made but you’re missing information. Take a step back to gather what you need to make the best decision possible.
transformation: things are changing at a cellular level, deep healing
This period of inactivity has caused you to feel anxious over the choices you have made. What do you need to safely and genuinely reflect on what is making you anxious?
5 of chalices: losses and pain. Look up to see what you still have left and where you can go next. you may have lost some things but not everything.
the initiation: rite of passage, crossing the threshold
How can you best work your magic and stand in your power to manifest your highest good and stay on your true north?
4 of flames: the celebration of sure foundations and a solid base on which to build on your inspirations and passage
mirror: who or what is triggering you?
Alright, so what I’m seeing here is that you have a goal in mind or a task you want to do and you keep putting it off because you’re not really sure how to go about it. I’m getting here because of the fact that you seem to have many choices and ways of going about this task. Perhaps the idea of this is that you’re unclear on the way forward because you don’t have all the information you need to make the informed choice this task or goal requires. This is where you need to do some listening to yourself for a bit here friend because it seems you already know the answer. Another thing I’m seeing with this reading is that you’re afraid of facing change and the pain associated with that change. Here’s the deal with that. Change is inevitable, and the more you resist it, the more opportunity you lose to embrace new energies coming to you. If you want to have the surety of being on solid footing, it’s best to ask yourself what’s triggering this fear and procrastination in you so you can celebrate the foundations you’ve built and safely cross the threshold of change.
