Today’s animal is the hawk. I have had the blessing of seeing these gorgeous birds before and it’s always been a profound experience for me because it’s always seemed to come out of the blue. I learned some fascinating things about hawks while I was doing my research for this month and I’d like to share it here with you if you’d like to know more. So here we go.

Hawks are incredibly smart and adaptable to their surroundings. Biologists have classed them in with ravens, crows, and eagles in this way because like these other birds, hawks can use tools to achieve their goals and they can strategize and plan how to do these tasks when they need to. They are adaptable as well because even though they thrive in big open spaces, they also can do well in urban settings as well. Here they play an important role in that they are helpful in keeping the rodent populations in check. Another fascinating thing I learned from doing research on these birds is they usually mate for life and are monogamous creatures.

Culturally and symbolically, hawks are believed to be sacred messengers and are seen as reminders to quiet your mind and tap into your intuition. These birds are held sacred in many cultures and tend to represent intelligence, independence, adaptability, and clairvoyance. Alrighty then friend, so here’s what’s going on. There are several new opportunities to grow in terms of your mental pursuits and your mental and emotional pursuits. This is a good thing and I believe you are acknowledging this fact, however, the fact that you are facing some hesitation has likely felt a bit chaotic because it’s shaking up your comfort zone. this is interesting because I’m seeing that you are the kind of person that has the authority and ability to turn that chaos into something useful to you. You’ve had issues, both major and minor that have shaken you up in the past but that hasn’t phased you before, so why is this hesitation here now? I suppose the stakes you’re facing now have to do with building a happy home and healthy family. The thing you’re perhaps not seeing is the fact that you already have a stable and sure foundation to build things on. Remember that Spirit and your intuition are your guides here so don’t close off and ignore what you see in your space at this time.
