Deck used is the Harmonious Tarot by Walter Crane and Earnest Fitzpatrick

So lately, and somewhat sadly, my father has been experiencing a lot of stress and hurt with some current issues he’s having in his life. Being the emotional bean that I am, I wanted to know how best to help him, yet, I am unsure what to do or how to go about letting him know of my intentions. Perhaps the thing is that I don’t know if there is anything I can do for him, and if there is, what will that mean for me if I do try. The best thing I can do at this moment is to consult with the cards and find out. Perhaps there is some clarity to be gained from this experience.

The Cards

cards pulled from the Harmonious Tarot

IF YES

  • 5 of swords: victory tinged with defeat

  • Knight of Pentacles: generosity, taking action on growing your material and financial resources

  • The sun: clarity, growth, peace, harmony, warmth

IF NO

  • 3 of cups: celebration, community, hard work, and a job well done

  • King of Wands: authoritative, taking actions on your passions and sparking your inspirations

  • 8 of swords: you feel trapped but you can escape if you change your perspective.

So currently, my father has been experiencing a lot of stress and discomfort and I wanted to see how I can help him through this time. Perhaps I am already doing it but the thing I like that is coming through in this reading is that there is a sense of generosity and clarity for me if I can help him in some way. If not, then I may end up in my own cycle of nerves and anxiety, but I need to know that I can create my world and celebrate it, with my father as part of the process. Both of us have our demons to face, and both of us are taking care of ourselves the best we can. The best thing I can say for us right now is that we’re doing the best we can to make sure we’re balanced and open enough to understand what we’re feeling and how to safely express it.
