Lighten Up and Have Some Fun

So what can I do for myself now that 2020 is well and truly past me? I’m finding it a bit hard to wind down, now that I’m able to let go of some of my anxiety (of course that would happen to me…) What message do my cards have for me today?

Cards
Pixie: lighten up, have some fun, laughing is a good antidote for the trials and anxieties of life
The Elder Queen: warmth, protection, kindness, strength, help from a friend, the success of a venture, someone open, honesty, practical, energetic, helpful, generous, welcoming
Billy Winker: recuperation, convalescence, the ned of some trouble, rest, relaxation, perhaps a holiday
Jack Frost: changes, setbacks, temporary, chaos, illness, accidents, mishaps
Fairy Horse: movement, travel, journeys, new experiences, good health, vitality, energy, innovation, and rapid progress.
It’s no secret that 2020 put all of us through the wringer. For my experience, my mental health went through all of it and I struggled (though I do need to admit that this is coming from a place of privilege and lots of people have been in and continue to be in much worse places than I ended up in through all of this). Now that I have the chance, it’s time for me to find places to sit back, laugh a little, and make sure that I can take a break and treat myself right. The other side of this is that I can’t rest on my laurels too long here because there’s work to be done. Waiting for issues to solve themselves and go away won’t solve them and I might end up stagnating with things if I don’t do something about the issues I can solve. If I can take care of the pressing issues in a manner that sets things to rights, then I’ll be able to cut loose and have the fun I’m looking to have.
