The problem I always seem to encounter with my anxiety is intrusive thoughts and rumination. Lately, I’ve been having trouble with this so how can I help me, help myself. Let’s find out, shall we?

The Situation

  • Tree: body, story, work, earth, job, root, grow, toil, dig, till, deeper

  • Birds: gossip, vision, wing, flight, flap, chirp, tweet, chatter, feather, melodically, high

  • Letter: news, correspondence, write, plea, contact, disclose, written, verbal

The Advice:

  • 7 of bones: view your situation through the qualities of fidelity, loyalty, and faithfulness. These will ground you and give you a sense of belonging

  • The Runt: Lend a helping hand when you need to, sharpen your perceptions and nurture those that matter to you.

  • The hydrant: cultivate balance, lighten up, and let go. It’s okay to have fun but know when to pull back when appropriate.

Here I’m seeing that you’re worried about someone talking about you or discussing something about your work. You’ll get news (either written or verbal) on that front. This is causing some anxiety on that front because you don’t know the final result of these discussions (especially when it concerns your person.) The thing that you need to do for yourself is to make sure that you’re viewing the situation through a light heart, especially if you think it’s going to help you progress and make things happen for yourself. In the meantime, let go, and don’t be afraid to lend a helping hand to your emotions if it means that you get a break from them. Ultimately, what I’m seeing is that you’re going to be okay. Freedom is going to be yours so don’t stress over little pebbles. You can climb the mountain because you already know how to do this. Emotionally cluttering your space won’t help you especially because Spirit is calling you to co-create with it. Don’t be afraid to do what you’re capable of doing.
