Deck used is the Everyday Tarot by Bridgit Esselmont

What to do when things don’t work out like you think they will? How do I feel knowing that sometimes things aren’t going to work, no matter how well I plan them to happen? Let’s see what my cards have to say.

from the Everyday Tarot by Bridgit Esselmont

The Cards

2 of cups: deep connections, partnerships. Shared values, compassion, unconditional love, nurturing

8 of cups: time work walk away from a disappointing relationship or situation. You may have wanted it to work out, but it hasn’t, and moving on is your only option.

Queen of wands: social butterfly, pursuing your creative vision, confident, courageous, determined, and able to speak your truth.

The emperor: structures, foundations, flexibility and change, discipline to see your plans through

3 of cups: celebration, collaboration, inspiration

So there have been some things that haven’t worked out the way I hoped for. The feelings I had were disappointing and painful, but in the end, these emotions are fleeting and temporary. The things I ended up losing in the fallout created space for new connections and partnerships based on shared values. I have renewed my confidence and ability to speak the truth and in doing this, I’ve created the space for light to come in and safety in which to celebrate my successes with those that have supported me.
