Deck used is the Fairy Ring by Anna Franklin

So we’re going to start small this month. I’m excited to share this deck with you all because the Fairy Ring is one of the first decks I started working with when I first started reading tarot. To introduce this, I’m going to start small and introduce one card to you. I have a feeling I’m going to have a good time working with this deck and hopefully, the energy I’m feeling from this deck will continue throughout this month.

from the Fariy Ring by Anna Franklin

The Cards:

The Oakman: power, good government, knowledge, self-control, right actions, equal rewards, reliability, honesty, methodical, conscientious, love of family and tradition

If there was a card to describe me as a person (at least in part) I feel it would be this one. There is certainly some energy with this card that I relate to, specifically the fact that family and the idea of using my authority and leadership skills to good use. I also know there is room to grow and change in this so adaptability and being flexible with the changing times is going to help me see the projects I have on my plate to fruition. Another thing that I see as a powerful connection here is the one I’m seeing between The Oakman and The Hierophant from the tarot. Both of these cards suggest to me that there are a teacher and a person who stands for morals and traditional values. Even more awesome is that the Hierophant is connected with my sun sign and I’m ready to see how these two energies help me down the line.
