Decks used are the Work your light oracle by Rebecca Campbell and Sirian Starseed Tarot by Alyssa Barthi and Patricia Cori

So in picking songs for this month’s playlist, I need to admit having trouble narrowing down my selections, because in all honestly, I have so many favorites that it’s hard to choose them sometimes. The reason I decided to include this song is that it talks about the power of unconditional love and how it can move one through a difficult time. When I thought about the ideas I wanted in the reading, I thought about the people outside of myself and how they benefit from this unconditional love. However, I’m sensing that there may be some messages in here I need to move forward with this. Let's get some cards to find out if my hunch is right.

The Cards

cards pulled from various decks

I have made a commitment to love through thick and thin. How can I let the loved ones in my life know that they’re safe to come to me in their time of need

  • 5 of chalices(cups): disappointments, pain, you have lost some things but not all, look up because you can still move on.

  • The Great Gathering: it’s all coming together, intuitive hits, soul tribe

what understanding have I come to from deciding to love others unconditionally?

  • 9 of flames (wands): stresses, fears, what keeps you up at night

  • unbound: releasing soul patterns, contracts, and past lives

what boundaries do I need to set in order to make this unconditional love work in the long term?

  • The Star: hope, light, peace, having a way of navigating through the darkness.

  • Star Mother: how can you mother yourself

how can I safely turn some of this unconditional love towards myself and my needs?

  • Reflection (the hermit): taking time away from society to refresh and recharge your lamp, finding the light of your own truth

  • Anna, Grandmother of Jesus: seeding the light, laying foundations, divine plan

So one thing I picked up on during listening to this song, is the idea that unconditional love played a part in the story being told. One thing I can do to make that idea part of my story is to know that even though all the disappointments we as people may feel, there will be things that come together and that family, especially those that want to be a part of it, will always have each other’s back, through thick and thin. The fact that I have chosen to be there for the people in my life without condition has led me to understand that in order to do this in the best way possible, I need to release old stresses and pains and build healthier boundaries with myself so I don’t burn out. This may cause pain, but I know that in doing this work, there will be a potential to create space for new and healthier energies to come in. There is a lot of hope and light in these dark times and by remembering this, I’ll be able to unconditionally love myself by taking time out and looking inside for my own light and inner truth.
