Here’s to more reflection time guys. I know it seems like a lot of the readings I do are about self-reflection but that’s the point for me. Since last year, I’ve been working a lot with the idea of my shadow side (something I’m hoping to write more about in future blog posts) and my cards have helped me get into the ideas I’ve had during the time I’ve taken to do self-reflection. I did this reading for personal guidance and I’d like to share with you the results. Here we go.

Me, my ambitions, hopes and dreams

Midsummer: Ushers in joyful energies of magic, enchantment, consummation, celebration, delight, fun, clarity and illumination

Befind: Indicates a rite of passage, usually this is something life-changing for the questioner as they appear at times of birth, marriage or other events.

The White Lady: an event of visit to a special place will lead to changes. Pay attention here. This may be an indicator of a warm, loyal friend as well.

Achievements, dependencies and strengths

The Cat: Can indicate new relationships with one-self or others OR it can indicate someone new coming in as well. Don’t be afraid of the mystery that surrounds this situation

The Shelter: If you’re feeling blue, examine how you see things. You have the power to invoke a path of confidence and affirmation.

7 of Leashes: Loosen up, you’re holding your leash a bit too tightly. It’s okay to have fun every now and again.

Faults, perceptions and your higher purpose

King of pentacles: you like the finer things in life and you’ve worked hard for them. You have big ambitions and these can mean big rewards if you make the most of them.

10 of wands: you may be in the home stretch now, but don’t let your guard down just yet. Take your share of the responsibility and know that there are good things coming to you.

7 of swords: there’s some deception and mischief about. It’s a good time to hold onto your assets (whether they’re emotional, intellectual, etc.) and be alert.

Things are in a good way right now and I’ve been drawing a lot of joyful, happy energy to me at this time. However, there are things that still need doing and I need to loosen up a bit to continue to draw that happy energy to me. I also need to be careful of other’s deceptions as well, because while I am absolutely down to help those in need, sometimes people might not have my best interests in mind when they come to me for help. It’s my responsibility to take care of myself and keep my eyes on my goals, but I also need to know that it’s absolutely okay to mind my boundaries with people and let my guard down a little bit so I can really be comfortable in being myself.
