Decks used are listed in the sources tab on the front page of the website.

Quote is from The Universe Has Your Back by Gabrielle Bernstein

Alright so this is going to be a long one guys. I did something like this before back in August and I had a lot of fun making the spreads and analyzing the reading when it was finished. I wanted to bring that into the regular rotation of posts I make, though I may do some adjusting in the future because as you might imagine, there is a lot of work that goes into readings like these. I’ve chosen to link back to the sources tab so you can see all the decks I used for this reading. I’m going to try and look for overarching themes and repeating cards in the reading. With as many decks as I have, it’s likely that there are going to be many cards saying the same thing to me. Here we go.

The Cards

"I surrender to a power greater than me"

10 of shells: blessings, well being

Prince of Disks: thinker, cerebral, able to make order from chaos, driven

2 of swords: you are facing a fork in the road but are unsure where to go next. Look again because you are missing information that will help you decide where to go next

Perpetua (she who aches): sadness, solitude, silent, withdrawn. Pain is inevitable but suffering is a choice

Aquamarine: seeking solutions that work for everyone, do not confuse compromise with backing down, negotiation, clear thinking and intention

King of pentacles: someone who is drive by the physical world, resources and finances

9 of pentacles: success, prosperity

7 of pentacles: work frustrations, hard work needing to be done whether in work or relationships

8 of cups: abandonment, travel, loss of interest, withdrawal

Tiddy Mun: success, though not of a material nature, satisfaction, a helpful friend, innocent pleasures, romantic, idealistic, chivalrous, gentle

4 of diamonds: Hesitation to help others, preoccupation with material possessions

The Wheel of Fortune: Luck, fate, karma

3 of wands: changing perspective, concentration, focus, growth and good fortune

Carnelian: go with your gut

Mouse Spirit: tend to the small things

7 of coins: Profit, growth, progress, valuable assets, toil, learning curve, anxieties around money

Full Moon in Libra: a win-win outcome is forecast

10 of swords: betrayal, fatality, backstabbed

2 of wands: Riches, fortune, magnificence versus suffering, disease, sadness and mortification

8 of wands: action, swift movement, broad focus, completed tasks before moving on to others

1 of leashes: restriction, evaluation of fears, doing things that are counterproductive to your goal

The High Priestess (Inner wisdom): The answers you're seeking are hidden at this time and it is absolutely the right time to go seek them. This isn't too hard with a bit of patience.

5 of Arrows (frustration): Unfocused energy or anger that leads to lashing out and/or waste of valuable energy and resources

In reading all of these back, the impression I’m getting is that I am on a journey to find something I don’t currently have at this time. There seems to be a lot of work to do to find the things I’m missing, especially when I’m in the dark on a lot of things and facing a long and twisting road ahead of me. I’m working on letting go, specifically of emotions that hold me back from looking at my path with curiosity and wonder. If I can come away with a clearer understanding of who I am and what I need to do to make sure I’m aligned with my values and purpose. The thing with me is that I sometimes get into my own thoughts and the detriment in that comes from the fact that I fixate and become broody. This isn’t going to serve me.

How can I start to do this? I can start by acknowledging and surrendering to the idea that there are much bigger forces at work in my life than what I create. There is nothing more powerful than letting go, and there seems to be a lot of a call to action for me to do this. When I do let go, the reward seems to be that I will gain wisdom and happiness but also the ability to move and take action when the time comes for me to do so. There will be rewards and abundance on the other side of this release but a period of growth is necessary, where attending to details and analyzing my perspective on things will help me establish the foundations I need. If I can do this, I will see abundance and rewards come to me and even better than that is that I can share the generosity of Spirit with others.
