The Horizon Awaits

Lately, I’ve been feeling down and out about where I am going in life. I’m not sad about this per se, but when I think back to all the things I heard when I was in school; get good grades, go to college, get an awesome job… all of that seems so plush, and yet I don’t have the awesome job just yet. And I realize this is me comparing my life to others, which I shouldn’t do because I’m not everyone else, but I heard these things so often that it’s hard for me not to have them ingrained in my brain. But perhaps things are changing? Now I’m curious to see what the cards have to say on the matter.

• The Star: light in the dark, far off dreams, look up, you can navigate the darkness better if you do

• Queen of swords: smart, observant, nurturing but protective

• Knight Of wands: passionate, fiery, take actions based on their passions and what sparks their inspiration

• 8 of cups: disappointments, move on, brighter horizons, and greener pastures await.

Here, I’m seeing that even through the darkness, I can navigate the disappointment and hurt. I have the passion and the smarts to do so and I know that the horizon awaits me if I look up and take the leap of faith getting there requires.
