Deck used is the Crow Tarot by MJ Cullinane
When I started this reading, I kept asking myself how things were going to go with this reading. I’m not done on my journey just yet; I still have a long way to go. For now, I wonder what my cards will show me in this reading so lets get to it.
The Cards

The sun: Optimism, positivity, success, Happiness, Good fortune
The star: Wishes, happiness, astronomy, optimism
8 of swords: this denotes a time of challenges due to restrictions that may appear to be overwhelming or beyond your capabilities. You can overcome this issue if you look inward to discover the potential within.
10 of Swords: this denotes a time of pain and betrayal and that this time is coming to an end. Yes it has been painful but this asks you to let go and accept that an end is coming whether you want it or not. You do have the strength to move on.
5 of swords: This denotes a battle that is hard-won but the cost comes too much higher than expected. Whether this is a loss of family or friend, you’re now alone and feeling isolated.
So this is a bit darker than I expected but I need to see this right now. The reason for this journey happening for me is that I am looking to find optimism and happiness and along the way, I will be holding onto these things as my guiding stars. The problem (that really isn’t a problem because this can be a blessing in disguise) is that there will be challenges that seem overwhelming and beyond what I think I can do. The safe thing I can hold onto here is that my inner strength will show me how to move forward. There will be pain and hurt from battles I’ve fought and too high a cost, and there will be moments of betrayal, where I need to be reflective and take responsibility for my part in it. But the thing is that these situations will end, as they all do and I will have to accept that to move on. It might feel lonely and isolating, but I can’t forget the light of wisdom that comes from being on this journey.
