Deck used is the Everyday Tarot by Bridgit Esselmont
For this reading, I wanted to go in without a specific question in mind just to see what I’d end up getting out of the deck. I like doing blind readings like this because I get to test my abilities as a tarot reader, but I also get the joy of putting the story of the cards together.

The Cards
5 of Pentacles: loss, poverty, isolation, don’t sabotage your abundance by focusing on what you lack
2 of cups: deep connection, partnerships, shared values, unconditional love, and compassion
The Lovers: connection, integration of dual forces, unity
9 of swords: worry, anxiety, despair, weighed down
The Emperor (reverse): step up, time to be accountable, and get stuff done. Be aware of your relationship to power and authority; let it work for you instead of against you.
The Magician: a time to manifest your goals, you have what it takes to make things happen
4 of swords: a time to rest, you’ve reached your first milestone so take some time to recharge before the next phase begins.
This is a hopeful reading for me because I think this is illustrating the story I’ve been living so far. 2020 was a time of horrible worry and stress and because I can only speak for myself, it affected me in ways I didn’t think it would. Due to the changes that have been put in place, I have been shown that I need to take a rest to recharge. The next phase is beginning and given that I can’t give on an empty tank, I need to let it refill before moving on. However, this doesn’t mean that I get to rest on my laurels indefinitely. I need to get up and do what must be done to continue seeing my goals to fruition. I know I have what it takes already and I need to make sure I use my skills to the fullest potential they can be used. By doing this, I’ll be able to help myself reconnect with my soul and higher purpose.
