Decks used for these readings are The Dog Tarot by Heidi Schulman, The Lenormand by Marie Anne Lenormand, and the Spirit Animal Oracle by Colette Baron-Reid

Sometimes we want things for ourselves but we don’t want to do the work. As a matter of example, when I was a young girl, I really wanted to be an actress. *nods* So many things wouldn’t have gone right with that, especially because I can’t memorize to save my life (thanks to being dyslexic). Ultimately me being an actress didn’t happen and I realize now that I was enamored of the potential final result rather than the work it would take to get there. Why is this relevant to this reading? I think if we took a step back and took stock of our talents, we might discover what we can do to make the most of them. Let’s look at some cards and see where we can start.

The cards

from the Dog Tarot, the Lenormand Oracle and The Spirit Animal Oracle

The Situation

  • Clouds, dream, heaven, mind, obscure, hide, foggy, blurred, hidden

  • Fish: wish, desire, water, dream, swim, dive, deeper, wet, slipper, elusive

  • Book: history, secret, knowledge, journal, record, understand, paper, ephemeral, written

The Advice

  • 3 of leashes: focused, fair and effective equilibrium is best achieved through praise and reward rather than manipulation and fear

  • The Pack: examine your relationship to power structures and do so justly

  • Justice: cultivate balance and learn to view events and relationships through clarity and your higher self. To err is human, to forgive is divine

The Guides

  • Bee: sweet results await

  • Squirrel: belief in yourself

  • Giraffe: see the big picture

There is a dream your having, causing your head to be in the clouds. Things are obscured and elusive because you’re not seeing things clearly. Perhaps you’re missing information you need to make progress in your goals and understanding. The thing that might help you best here is to stay focused and fair with yourself. You have made mistakes in the past so accept them and forgive yourself so you can move on. Having power can be corruptive if a good person learns to misuse it so perhaps questioning how you’re using yours will help you understand the ways in which you relate to it and how the world sees you. Your guides are saying that your efforts will be rewarded sweetly if you believe enough in yourself to see the bigger picture. Believe me, you got this friend so don’t forget yourself and who you are.
