I think it’s fair to say that life these days has been relatively interesting (and by this I mean challenging) for all of us. It may seem like alot of us are out in the cold and on our own when we need to figure things out. I certainly have felt like this on many occasions, so I don’t think I’m alone in these emotions. However, I do feel a difference for myself, one that I feel is important to share with all of you. Hopefully this gives you some energy to keep going when things get tough and consolation in the times you’re feeling alone. I’m telling you now friendship, you’re not alone.

I’m deeply encouraged with this reading because it’s seeming to suggest what all of us need to do when we feel like we’re out of our element. It’s been so easy this year to get thrown off our stride and I don’t blame anyone for feeling like we’re in the dark right now. Nothing about 2020 has been easy but even through all of the hardships and feeling stressed and worried, the biggest boon to all of this that I can see is that my cards are saying we’re not alone in anything we’re experiencing right now.
The first thing I noticed was that there is a dichotomy in this reading between being challenged and being at peace. Like I said in the introduction and beginning part of this reflection, we’re experiencing a lot of emotions that may make us feel like we’re alone, but we’re not. The affirmation I pulled as the theme for this is “the Universe has my back.” When we realise this is true for ALL of us and not just some, we are better able to cope with the things that worry us and cause us pain. We’re able to claim our truths and set about the transformations we all need to be going through. We’re better able to surrender to Divine energies around us because we know that while we are vulnerable in doing so, we’re going to be loved and supported. There will be so much creativity and love for us when we come to the end of our journey because we will have achieved what we set out for.
I know I’m waxing poetic about all of us being divinely supported and protected, but I also acknowledge that life happens to all of us and there are certain things we all need to do to deal with whatever challenges come to us. I know for me personally, I’ve been told I have a lot of determination and persistence when it comes to getting through whatever challenge comes my way. I know I am changing and while it may be hard, I am able to take care of my heart and soul by being kind, empathetic and compassionate with myself. I know if I do this for myself, I’ll be able to face the challenges life throws in my direction. I can surrender to the power of the magic around me because I’m not caught up in the stresses the outer world throws at me. This isn’t to say that I’m totally lost in said magic, but I have a support system underneath me and a soft landing to fall in at the end of my journey.
Blessed be.
