Because it is very close to the end of a seemingly very long year, I wanted to look at three areas of my life I can improve upon in the coming year. What I hope came across with this is that I wanted to look at the light and dark sides of my personhood as well, and what it is about the goals I have that motivate me to work on them. I don’t know if I answered the questions alright, but I’d like to share the results with you anyway.
The Cards

Wheel of Fortune: Change, fate, karma
The Lovers: Love, alignment, choices
10 of Cups: wholeness, connection, full circle
Again, the thing that gets me every single time is the fear of change. I’ll say it again, I am a creature of my comforts and I always fall back on things that have worked for me in the past. The thing is that nothing is stagnant, and EVERYTHING changes. Thinking about this has often led me to feel scared and depressed because what will that mean for me in the future? More immediately, what will that mean for me when tomorrow comes? I know it’s no use fretting over tomorrow because it will have problems of its own, and I will likely be better able to deal with those things when tomorrow comes. At the moment, I can choose to be aligned in love, and the choices I know are going to lead me to a sense of wholeness and connection. What I like about getting the 10 of cups in this reading is in some interpretations of the card, it talks about this being about a love that is everlasting beyond the initial stages of romance and beyond the honeymoon phase. I think in my case, the card is about seeing things come full circle so I can achieve the goals I set for myself.
