Deck used is the Everyday Tarot by Bridgit Esselmont
We’re 5 days into the new year and I am feeling hopeful and energetic in a way that I wasn’t last year. Things are different for me now and I’m curious to see how things play out for me in the coming days. While I can’t predict what might happen to me in the coming days, I am interested in seeing what I have to potentially look forward to. To the cards we go.

The Cards
8 of swords: trapped in your current situation, you can get out of it as you are not bound so tight that you can’t move.
3 of cups: a time to celebrate your successes with close friends and family, also a time for collaboration and inspiration
2 of pentacles: juggling your priorities, managing time carefully, take a break somewhere in there as well; this can be productive too.
The High Priestess: in tune with your intuition, the answers you seek are within you already, represents wisdom and divine energy.
Queen of Swords: determination, resiliency, smarts, thinking over feeling, getting straight to the point, your opinions are valued for this reason.
Page of cups: a new creative idea or opportunity shows up out of the blue, aspirations, an unexpected and pleasant surprise
9 of pentacles: the abundance you seek has been created, take some time to enjoy it, also work to create financial abundance in the long term
10 of cups: connection, bliss, following your heart and trusting your intuition, wholeness, completion, and alignment
4 of wands: growth, expansion, a time to pause and celebrate what you have achieved
The World (reverse): a situation has passed and now it’s time to let it go so you can address what needs to be addressed. Take the time to close the loops you left open in dealing with this past situation.
The first thing I see with this reading is that there have been things I’ve been holding onto that I need to let go of. These energies are trapping me and holding me back and the thing is that they don’t have to. This is going to be difficult and stressful, but I am resilient and determined to keep moving forward. The bonds around me are loose enough that I can shake them off and move forward. I don’t have to worry so much about the fears and things that keep me from pursuing my dreams. When I do let go of these energies, I might find that I am better able to juggle and prioritize my tasks and energies so I can connect better with the creative energies around me. I’ll be able to use that along with the intuitive energy to celebrate the abundance I’ve created for myself.
