So recently, I was listening to some Broadway music on YouTube and The Man from La Mancha came up. There’s a song in there called The Impossible Dream and for some reason, that song holds relevance to this reading in my mind because it talks about going for your proverbial windmill; what I mean is having the courage to fight your giants and go for the bigtime. Well, that’s what I’d hope for you, but there’s a sense that you’re depleted a bit. By what? What can I show you in the cards to help you make the best movement forward? Let’s see some cards and go from there, yes? Yes. Okay here we go.

Zebra: break free of the box
Octopus: reaching, yearning, lacking boundaries and direction, interested, engaged, intelligent
Horse: care for others and let them be free
The Cat: focus new energy on relationships with others and yourself. This is likely a time of new and possibly incomprehensible energies coming in for you but it can also be a time where you reach into the unknown aspects of your being. Put on your magic eyes and draw what has seemed elusive and unattainable directly into your life.
Lizard: dream the world into being
Swan- Angel of Alchemy (temparance): balance, moderation, in flow, integration, synthesis, harmony
Page of pentacle (reverse): one who resorts to acting without care and understanding of their resources, impatience, lack of grounding and practicality
The Chariot: clear and sure of your path, movement forward, having the drive and will to move your power forward.
4 of feathers (swords): rest, relax and reset, you’re in a safe place to do so.
Knight of cups (reverse) one who is closed off and refuses to take action on their emotional and spiritual growth, lack of emotion, care or understanding.
Alright friend, what I’m seeing with this reading is that you’ve been caring so much for others that you’ve sacrificed your boundaries and have allowed yourself to act without care for your boundaries and those of others, but more importantly, you’ve denied yourself the right to feel your emotions because you’ve had to be strong for other people. Here’s the deal with this friend. You’ve burned ourself out in doing this and the result of this is that you’ve lost sight of your dreams, power and passions. You’re unclear of where to do next because you’ve been so focused on others. In light of this energy, let me ask you this question. What is it you want for yourself dear friend?
In order to help you answer this question, take some time to rest and take care of yourself. Remember that you can’t give from an empty cup and right now, it seems you’re down to the dregs of what’s left. Give yourself the time and chance to understand what you’re dreams are telling you and formulate a plan to help you move forward in the best way you know how. There will be clarity, peace, and so many dreams come true when you reassert your boundaries to yourself and allow yourself to dream your wildest dreams.
